with actions
lots of driving this weekend. gas is expensive. hamrick owns a lot of heavy things. the trip was sweet, and pretty exhausting. i learned a few things: (1) mikey's the world's only perfect driver, (2) don't count on an army of mexicans to show up, because they probably won't, and (3) don't ever let me use a dolly, ever. i'll break all your stuff. pics will be up as soon as i get my camera back from my parents house.
and i came home and lo and behold, the house was fairly messy. trash in the kitchen was stacked twice the height of the can. how does it not occur to you that maybe you should take it out when, say, it gets to be a foot above the can? but my roommates are cool and took care of it, with a little encouragement.
steve and i picked up some cool stuff from ikea - we spent a few hours there, but it wasn't as much fun because we were all dead tired. scored some glasses, bowls, a new baking sheet, coffee table, skillet, and a sweet pillow that's silly comfortable (good call mikey) - all for under $70. forgot a can opener, tho. :(
