hey kid! i'm a computer!

back in the dizzle at onenet we used to support a san-diego based ISP called k-online. they were based out of a flea market and had the most insane, wild customers i've ever talked to in my years in the computer business. but if you visit the site now (as i just did), turns out the ketchup-and-mustard-color-scheme that i remember so well is gone, and so is, in fact, the company. the company they've been purchased by is bent on 'total web domination', apparently. good luck with that, guys. makes me wonder what happened to jorge and james and the other wacky kids from k-online. hope they're doing well.

so i've been at UC for, well, this is going on my seventh year (they're called doctors), and i've noticed that traffic, at any given time of day, is the WORST ITS EVER BEEN EVER. ever. EVER. getting to I-71 by going up clifton and down mcmillan takes at least 20 minutes every time. and all the shortcuts i take are just as backed up. wonder whats going on? even in the beginning of the quarter it's not usually this mobbed....
