veil cerpin taxt... yeah.. clearly...
so i got the mars volta's disc from tony. it's called deloused in the comatorium. some of the songs are called cicatriz e.s.p. and take the veil cerpin taxt. right.
despite that :) take at the drive in (ex-members of which comprise this band), add some rush, a dash of afi and a bit of radiohead and hurl up some queens of the stone age on top of it. voila. it's pretty tasty stuff.
today has been EXCELLENT, i must say. feeling great. not just physically, i'm more perked up (heh) than i've been in a while. going back out to oakie today for the first time in weeks was beautiful.
something to think about today: what are you passionate about? what wakes you up? what keeps you up all hours of the night doing? what are the things you would sacrifice anything for? do your answers to these questions surprise you? five years ago did you expect you'd answer those questions the way you did? knowing yourself - will you answer those questions differently in five more years? most likely, the human attribute of progression and change seems to make that a certainty - in fact, it's probably harder to keep yourself (your passions, your heart) from changing - not progressing, but simply going with the flow - than to allow it to. imagine how the world would look if no one 'went with the flow' - we all followed our hearts, our passions, the way we were wired, to the utmost. i certainly spend close to zero time doing this - i'm not pointing at anyone. but imagine always being 100% - or maybe at least 90% - fired up and going after what we're wired to enjoy, and steering clear of passivity and being 'blah'. i bet no one would ever go into a walmart again. ;)
with that said i'm going to go watch TV and ensure the propogation of the system.
