better sing now while you can

geez, its sunday. well its been a fun weekend. friday i hit up rohs street cafe, it was packed. and saturday, i was frickin BEAT. b love and big ian lubbers and i had some dinner. and then today brooke and i went skiing, and i was even more frickin beat. :)

its been nice hangin out. i feel most alive, i think, when i'm with my friends and the people i love. its not a big epiphany, i'm sure, to anyone. but i'm realizing that more than my job or even my ministry - its one of the most significant things i do, and that's really the way it's supposed to be. its cool - look at jesus, the way he lived, the things he did. it was his thing - PEOPLE. he wasn't tied up in a program or a church, per se, in the way that we think of those things. the recorded events of his life that we see - he's with people, talking with them, eating with them, doing things, sharing experiences. maybe part of following jesus is really more than editing my behavior, following rules. jesus talked more about how to relate to God and love him and others. is that what i think about the most?
