dirty deeds... and the dunderchief

vanity's got this new gun

today's actually been productive. i went out to try and run up at veteran's park... that ended up as normal, with me coughing my pancreas up... but i speed-walked for a while longer and that was good. i need to get some real running shoes, cuz mine aren't meant for that at all. hit the grocery store too... made it out without buying any pop. it's silly hard to stop drinking that stuff.

last night b and steve and brad clark and i hit up newport... the irish pub, then barnes & noble, and then fat fish blue to listen to some jazz.

so don miller IS speaking tomorrow morning. the church is called northstar vineyard, it's up at loveland middle school. their website is here (beware, goofy dance music may make you vomit, or get up and shake it). they have services at 9 and 10:30, and i think renee and i are going at 10:30. the new book is good, but kinda slows down about halfway through into a couple of new analogies on our generation's different architecture of faith. the whole heavy-relational, we-don't-know-everything, rules-and-religion-are-bad stuff. which is absolutely how i feel about things - and so i love what he writes, even if i've read it a thousand other times. but yeah. it's a great, great primer on the gospel for people that might have problems with a more organized, bullet-pointed, formal outline of ideas.

then, i've got filming to do in the afternoon, eating w/my parents, and then gotta make the video for club on monday. six weeks of school left.. :)
