i'd give you anything but you won't take

i've been saying for months that xm needed to stream their programming online for a discounted / free rate to their subscribers. hey, they listened. cool. $3.99 for subscribers to stream the programming over the web.

i've been playing burnout3 all night. it's a racing game where the point is not to win races but to destroy property - namely any other cars, vans, buses, tankers, children (not really children) on the road. i spent the last hour or so on the 'crash nav' section where you start at one end of a stretch of road, build up speed, grab some cash along the way and then target a busy intersection and try to blow up as many cars as you can. after a certain number on each track you hit a button to detonate your car and send it / anything on top of it flying.

it's got split screen multiplayer and live support. it's really the first racing game i've WANTED to play more. i can see this quickly becoming an excellent party game, vis a vis wario ware / fusion frenzy.

listening to: jimmy eat world - just tonight...
