time gives you chances

well surprisingly enough - my chili, il ducé, just won 1st place in the sant chili cookoff. sorry i made so many of you try it in the last month - the guys at halo 2 night, b, especially renee, who had to sit there for a few nights helping me hack my recipe. we finished up v1.2 last night at like 11:00. among the killer ingredients were Montgomery Inn sauce, red-wine pasta sauce, tobasco, cayenne, oregano, paprika, cumin, and even a little ground cinnamon.

i'm actually really, really thrilled w/this. i rant occasionally about how i never feel like i'm good at anything. i guess i didn't need to win a contest to know i like food :) but yeah... word...
