it's better if you lead the way
ever since i got the capture card for my PC a few years ago, i'd thought about installing Windows XP Media Center on my desktop. really all i use it for anymore is storage, and occasional browsing. i don't wanna pony up for a better video card, so any newer PC games are pretty much out anymore. but the DVR and library functionality look really good. plus we get it free from MSDN. so what the heck? the only drawback is not having the cute little remote. i wonder how it'll work without that.
dodgeball up at western hills sports mall was solid last night. i think it'll be my new wednesday night event - go up and watch the fellas play. it's even better when it's 17/18 year old high school kids vs. 35-40 year old firemen. and the high school kids dominate. hah.
oh! yes. we finally bought updated virus software at the office (read: they finally gave me money). it's so beautiful to log on to each of my servers and see the 'V' shield on the system tray. woo.
