from the onion yesterday, Ex-Girlfriend Playing Virtua Fighter With Some Other Guy Now. heh. i'm wondering from you fellas in relationships - do you and your chick play video games together that much? part of me really wants to - because i'm a gamer, one, and because renee says she'd be happy to, which obviously makes me ridiculously lucky - but part of me is hung up, and here's why. i stick to genres i like - mainly 2D fighting games, i.e. street fighter-esque stuff, and FPS's like halo. and i'm pretty good at them. no ego here - i just like practicing so i get better, and as a result i can usually take anyone i fight in, say, MvC2 or SFA3 or capcom vs. snk or whatever. i don't want to beat the tar out of my girlfriend, though. so what do i do? rent games i've never played before and stuff? we've played sports games together before - maybe i rent madden or nba live or FIFA or something. i need help, though, or ideas of games to rent and learn together. gabe from pa talks about playing RPG's with his girlfriend. if only KOTOR was two players... but maybe that's the way to go?
heh. i gotta admit this is a problem i never thought i'd have. a good problem - like having too many movies to watch. :)
so i'm waiting for the announcement on the itunes music store for windows. i heard 1pm, 10am, etc. on when they were going to make it available for download. give me something to play with tonight.
oh, and yeah, don't even frickin talk to me about the stupid cubs. ergh. such a disappointment.
