i missed what everyone could see
argh, today's been a long frickin day. class all day... then tony and kevin (our group partner) and i worked on and off for almost four hours this afternoon on a systems analysis project. and then the team meeting. so i got home, everyone was like 'come on, play poker'... and of course foolishly i jump on in, thinking maybe it'll be different from last week. or the week before. maybe i'll be able to get past losing miserably and have some fun.
nope. don't work like that, i guess. i was out in under 30 minutes. something about getting no cards and playing the wrong hands with those cards... i'm not even going to try to blame anyone else, it just sucked. it's no fun anymore. i'm retired.
this isn't supposed to evoke any pity or sarcasm or anything. just a statement. now i'm watching a time to kill and hoping sam jackson'll make me feel a bit better. speaking of, anyone seen caveman's valentine?
