the silence reveals what we really are
i fired up my fifth power supply in a few years today. lost one on saturday night, not too sure how, it was a bizarre occurance that left my IDE devices working in a confusing tandem.
microcenter had a sale on some nice 400W units that had built-in blue-led fans. now the back of my PC glows. i'm officially r337. not as extreme as this, but bright.
have you seen sideways? let me put it this way: if you liked swingers, but wish it had been about middle-aged guys who didn't know where their lives were going, wanted to figure themselves out and deal with past relationships; and you wish it had been in snobby california wine country instead of LA and Vegas; you will be mighty satisfied with this movie. it was cute, barely poignant, didn't so much shout its main ideas as much as mumble them out in between drunken giggles. i probably would have liked it more if i were 40.
i have hero sitting on my desk now. it's been a while since i had a jet li experience. in fact, my last was the one, which was beyond abysmal and yet stunningly hilarious. i have no idea how he delivered the lines in that movie with a straight face. probably the same way the actors in the star wars films did.
