so where IS the hood at?

jamming to phatfirm hip hop. i gotta say, itunes has some quality features. the rendezvous-based sharing is pretty spiffy and seamless, although it doesn't work over VPNs. the built-in streaming station tuner is pretty nice too. and the store will probably steal a decent amount of my money. cut the price in half ($.50 / song) and i'll never download another song, ever.

here's the sad thing - as much as i loved xplay i doubt i'll ever need to use it again. itunes' interface is nicer.

it's a shame though that apple's coders don't know how to do simple windows things - there's little windows-specific interface things that i like that aren't in itunes (ctrl-arrow word skipping, using the 'right-click' keyboard key, etc). and it responds like a typical Mac app - redraws are slow, so that if i move the window, the stream skips cuz it's redrawing the brushed metal that apparently the application needs. make it skinnable, apple.

possibly hitting the oak hills/colerain game tonight, but might have people over to watch ATHF, movies, eat pizza, play halo, etc.
