shine away my shadow
well the weekend was rather long and busy. the leadership dinner (montgomery inn twice in one day) was nice and sentimental as always, a solid cryfest for most of the ladies and our area director :) renee and i tried to watch big fish afterwards but couldn't stay awake.
saturday, goo, we got afterprom stuff done at like 2 and so i went to get my tires done. b hooked me up at sams, so it was a little less expensive and got done pretty quick. i just barely missed 75 being closed due to that building collapse, it was still smoky but cleaned up by the time i got there.
afterprom was killer. the people from zen&now were highly cool and a blast to work with. i'm glad that they're the only coffeehouse on the west side. it was a long night though, and it wore me out somethin fierce. big brooke daddy played for a solid hour and a half for us.
yesterday i didn't do much. started rereading yaconelli's messy spirituality. yet another perfect compliment to the zone i feel like i'm in now.
oh, yeah, tomorrow is last samurai day.. OWN.
