dirty deeds... and the dunderchief

while i swing my arms like ralph macchio

ugh, came into work early today to try to meet my new boss, which ended up being totally futile cause dude's been in meetings all morning. i did get to stop in and say hey, but not talk to him. but my last boss (rick) that just left is in training him now, so he'll hopefully give him the lowdown / down low / 411 / something on my schedule.

gamerfeed had some quality linkage today. a video of capcom's upcoming 2d fighter called Fighting Jam (ryu's still in it, that's all i need); an article on the next TMNT, which has full four player versions of the two arcade games as included bonuses... i rented TMNT for the xbox a few months ago, and it sucked, it was boring and repetitive and the controls were terrible, and you couldn't even play 4 player. blah. but the arcade games from back in the day (the one that became TMNT 2 for the NES, and Turtles In Time for the SNES)... i remember sailing up to Put In Bay and going to the arcade there and playing the original TMNT for HOURS. Konami used the same engine for the simpsons arcade game (how come that never made it to a home system?). the 4 player action on that was just excellent.

anyway. reminiscing.

also on gamerfeed was a hands-on review of halo2's multiplayer. oh sweet Lord. the entire month of november is already going to be a complete waste. ALL i'm going to do is play this. chip and i were talking about it at the funk party (which made me laugh, i doubt he remembers it, because he asked me at least four times 'dude, have you seen the halo2 multiplayer video? RIDICULOUS'... chip was a little, um, out of it, i think), and how we're going to be completely useless. and it'll be right before i graduate, too. oh well, if i fail those classes i can just go back for spring quarter. :) seriously. environmental damage. location-specific vehicle damage. microphone support. knocking people out of VEHICLES.

so. uh. club tonight, probably the last one of the year, and the last one at the naegel's, ever. good memories at that place.
