i'll say it now, never take friendship personal will probably be my favorite album of the year. i didn't fully appreciate blueprints... until after listening to it for about a year. it dawned on me - there are maybe a dozen or so discs i own that every song on the album gets my attention. blueprints is like that. the new one is almost there. but the songs on it are just stronger, smarter, better lyrics, more melodic, a perfect evolution for this band. there are like two that don't capture me - but the other nine, i can't stop listening to. they're coming to bogarts march 5th and you're going. i've always wanted to see them live.
