dirty deeds... and the dunderchief

tell your lawyer 'take that civil case and drop it like it's hot'

i'm now witness to the crime that simon and dave both wrote about: junior bacon cheeseburgers at wendy's are $1.29. frickin capitalists.

however they do have a new addition that's not quite 99 cents, but still tasty: the junior smoky cheddarburger. a JBC minus the bacon, plus cheddar cheese (the best on burgers) and some cajun-spicy sauce. $1.19, a good deal. they need more cheddar on burgers at fast food places.

i had to miss study last night cause of work. it'll be wonderful next week when things start up at GE and i don't have to do that anymore. hopefully. i have the feeling i'm getting my hopes up for a straight 8-5 deal and it won't be like that. that it'll involve more after-hours stuff than i'm being told. so we'll see.

speaking of work - my interim (maybe) replacement is my boy ed trujillo, a support guy who's been on for a few months. he's a good dude, knows a little linux and some windows admin stuff, so he was the most reasonable candidate. poor guy is gonna have to split support calls + my job, though, so hopefully his head doesn't explode. meanwhile i agreed to stay on as a part-time employee simply to do network monitoring and stuff while ed ramps up for the next few weeks. two paychecks! word.

we went to alex kozlovsky's pimp new place out in west chester, and he fed us and gave us russian beverages and then sang some sinatra for us. we've picked our song for the ceremony, and now renee's processing tunes for the reception. and more wedding stuff, looks like i'll be doing my thug brandon's music at his reception, so hopefully he's cool with lots of biggie and jimmy eat world and KMFDM. and their dance is going to be muskrat love, naturally. or sexual healing.

we had the st. patrick's day massacre after campaigners tonight - also known as club cranium, with lots of root beer and dropkick murphy's music. naturally my team dominated - winning at the last second of the hourglass while jake jones drew a flying buttress and we guessed it. i'll let your imagination dictate the picture.

renee's got her 'chocolate massage' tomorrow that i got her for v-day at the plex - an hour of a massage by a black guy. actually they use chocolate oils and stuff, supposedly it's really quality.

i also have the draft for the Sant NCAA pool tomorrow. same style as last year - all eight players go through a draft and pick teams, and they get money for each of their teams that wins a game. the $$ goes up each round. i managed to make like $10 last year with a $5 buy-in. i have second round, too, and the guy who has first round told me he's not picking illinois. rowr.

i'm still trying to figure out who else to grab in my draft - i pretty much decided by seeds last year and got burned, so i'm trying to do some more research.

you think i'm *@#?$& around? mark it zero!
