dirty deeds... and the dunderchief

you ever dealt with a dealer?

well here's the deal, ma, we goin' to the dealer.

check out blogging church. it's interesting - for a while lifespring's site was built on blogger, it may still be, cause steve jones from the gathering worship team hooked it up. but this is a great concept. what better way for dudes who lead churches to share their thoughts in an interactive community? talk about interesting things on days besides sunday? surprisingly enough i saw this on scoble.

i forgot to share some other sweet news... i'm gonna do new leader training this year. the team is me, cat wade from f-town, and tom from mason. and i think we're going to have it at the compound. which will probably be a little strange. i was in debate over whether or not to sign on, until i found out we're going to run it from 4pm to 6pm sundays... so it won't interfere with vandelay. woot.

i'm really excited about this. NLT shook me from a slumber and threw me into a pile of young, struggling, hopeful people that shared a lot with me. good night, thinking about how i was back then... i can't believe they took me as a leader. i was a frickin mess. i guess that's the point, though. staff gave me a shot. they figured that God was doing some work on me, and even though i didn't have it all together that i would be used. i'm fortunate.

hey, know anyone that you think might be interested in being a leader in Cincinnati? send 'em my way.

watched almost famous for the first time last night and i really enjoyed it. "The only true currency in this bankrupt world if what we share with someone else when we're uncool." nod.
