dude, ilovebees is getting nuts. a lot has happened in the last few days... following it has been pretty entertaining, watching people scramble to assemble random bits of text and pictures into a meaningful plotline with characters, motives, etc... and i'm fearful while i'm traveling that i'm going to miss some of it.

i feel like i'm watching a real life Pattern Recognition. [carl]frickin AWESOME.[/carl]

the wiki has a speculative summary of the possible storyline behind the whole game, and a guide to the 'real world' side of the game. i think it's going to get very interesting in the next few weeks.

anyway. flight leaves at 3 for detroit, and 7 for SF. looks like i will have a decent layover in detroit. oh well. i'm sure i'll find something to do. i'll probably update more from the phone than text, tho. although there is that email-to-post thing too. i'm not sure what kinda net access will be available... although i do want to upload pictures and stuff while i'm there. yeah.

i'm excited. as much as i enjoy the dull familiarity of never leaving my home city... well i think i just feel like this whole trip is going to be more of a 'shake things up' and deal with the unexpected thing than a 'vacation' in the traditional sense, where you relax and don't do anything. i like being lazy. i also like adventure. i think this one's going to lean towards the latter, as much as i've craved the former in a getaway. we'll see how it goes :)
