fragile, she doesn't see her beauty
updating may be a little more sporatic here. one, i actually have consistent things to do all day. i used to be able to get a post in during the day occasionally. that may change down the road, six or so months from now, when our architecture is in place. but for now i'm sitting in front of servers all day. it wouldn't matter much - i can't get to a lot of the sites i normally read, cause their internal proxy servers do content filtering. which, hey, guess what, i get to start sifting through and running reports on tomorrow.
i think my work ethic will be 100% different in a few months. i'm so used to a slower pace that i'm in control of - it's going to take a lot of getting used to - but it'll be good, i think, in the end. time at night after work is precious now - i only have a few hours to do anything.
so now i'm going to the gym, which looks like a wednesday / thursday / saturday endeavor now that the rest of my evenings after 5pm are gone. and i will leave you with a quote from a guy whose blog is insightful, insanely honest, full of stories and fallacies and truth, strange, funny, and overall quite inspiring for a young up-and-coming blogger like myself.
"people have capacities too. don't we? you can't put a gallon and a half of milk into a gallon jug. and if you do you don't blame the jug.
or do you?"
