we booked our summer vacation a minute ago - hilton head, july 15-22, plus a convertable. so what is there to do down there? besides sit on the beach and sweat? and eat seafood? (dad's list of savannah restaurants in 4... 3... 2...)

I guess it's been a while since I've seen Artie! I didn't even know he was having a kid...silly! Congrats Artie (if you read along).

What to do in Hilton Head? Golf! I know how much you love that. It's like the golf capitol of America! Look at the old plantations, I think if you look hard enough, you'll find some slaves there still. Make sure you eat at The Wild Wing. It's like Murph's favorite place in the world...and get the Habanero Hots wing...Oh yeah, you can golf there. That's about all I can think of, ask Sarah, it's her favorite place in the world. Her family has a timeshare down there and they go every year at the end of June.

you can sit there and have all the snobby, rich, old white people stare at you for being inferior.
hope you rented a Mercedes convertable, or you're going to feel really, really out of place.
congrats Artie!

Dad's List:
1. Any place on the river front in downtown Savannah. This is a river front done right, good bars and restaurants, lots of shops and an atmosphere.

2. Paula Deens (Food Network) "Lady and Sons". Be prepared for a 2-3 hour wait.

3. "The Pink House" in downtown Savannah

3. "Churchhill's Pub", Good English food.

4. Tybee Islands "Crab Shack". Rachael Ray visited there on her $40.00 per day show.

BTW, GP Savannah has a schedule shutdown somewhere in that time frame, I may see you there.

Congrats to the Kuhn Family!
