dirty deeds... and the dunderchief

superman where are you now

hahaha, family guy tonight, stewie in the TV doing "in the air tonight"... beautiful. and peter doing GW's "now check out this drive"...

speaking of... is it like the new hotness now to do metal covers of phil collins / genesis? a ways back nonpoint did "in the air", and last year disturbed did a very good version of "land of confusion". so when is slayer doing "sussudio"?

speaking of phil collins... anyone remember the "don't lose my number" video? there's this weird segway in the middle of it where this dude stabs himself in the chest with an arrow. when i first saw that as a little kid it totally gave me nightmares because he's all laughing maniacally when he does it. i saw it a few years ago and physically cringed right as he was about to do it, and then realized the guy was laughing cause it was fake, but still...

why do i think i've talked about that experience on here before?

finished up god of war. at the beginning of the game i was afraid that the lack of a controllable camera would really hurt gameplay, but the developers managed to really nail the automatic tracking to keep you in a good place the whole time, so it was never much of an issue. until the last boss. there's three parts to the fight, and the first two were tough but doable and clever. the final part was awful and frustrating because the camera locked into terrible positions, preventing you from seeing yourself as you're fighting the dude. add to it that the guy's cheap as crap, and it pretty much sucked the fun out of finishing it. although the ending was worthy.

next up... man i have so much stuff to try... FFVII, the Metal Gear Solids, the Gran Turismos, Devil May Cry, Resident Evil IV... anyone try Black at all? heck, anyone with a PS2, what should i go for next? what's the top of your list?
