i started up a tumblr site. it's here. part of me wants to shut this here site down... post longer babbling on lazyrev, random crap on teh wack, and everything else in short, restrained bursts on the tumblr...
el-p's i'll sleep when you're dead is dazzlingly unpredictable, fresh, slap-happy hip hop with beats that sound like rejects from a beck disc. it's interesting for a few spins, unsure about the staying power, but the dude has a storied history and a loyal following.
one of the toughest NES games i ever spent five minutes playing was the original ninja turtles. no one i knew ever had it, so i never got to try to complete it, but its difficultly level is legend. so i grabbed it fresh from the virtual console today to see what all the hype is about.
how can you not be silly excited about rock band? done right, it could be one of the most insanely entertaining titles ever made.

yeah so when we lived on ohio ave. during college i bought a dozen or so classic NES games cause artie found his NES and we hooked it up. one of them was the original TMNT. then we moved and they vanished...
... until this week, when B found them with some of his stuff. sweet action!
nick - i need to make you a copy of that El-P disc, i think you'd enjoy it.
So B has my old Nintendo? I thought I had the original TMNT too. THE hardest game EVER though was Top Gun. Did anyone ever manage to refuel?
