horoscope told me lies this morning

woke up this morning at 7:30, because the justice league of gardening was outside my frickin house, annhilating evil weeds with their weed wacker of heroism and then casting them into oblivion with their leaf blower of courage. their RIDICULOUSLY LOUD RIGHT OUTSIDE MY WINDOW I WANT TO MURDER YOU leaf blower. who does that at 7:30 am?

so i felt like a hero to blue ash this morning. on the way into work a giant herd (gaggle?) of geese were blocking traffic on pfeiffer and the hotshot old men in their droptop benzes were getting annoyed and dangerously close to vehicular geese-slaughter. and i wanted to play with the geese. so i parked and ran out real quick and used my pied-piper abilities (picture me dancing in the middle of pfeiffer, trying to frighten the geese to safety, with about three dozen impatient businesspeople in their cars staring at me, you'll have an accurate picture) to get them out of the way. i got a handful of grateful waves and 'hey! you're the guy!' yells from construction workers in large trucks. i felt special.

that's not something i'd normally do. i wonder where that came from. anyway. so i'm in at work cleaning more spyware of salespeople's machines and trying to fix the same CRM server.

picked up the empire strikes first yesterday. i don't even hear the political rhetoric anymore. the music's alright, it's the most polished, produced album they've ever released but it doesn't sound unnatural, just evolutionary. first listen, i wasn't impressed, but after a few more i'm starting to enjoy it more. there's an especially interesting track called god's love that raises some questions on suffering in the world. i find discussing that question to be very interesting, and so a little later i'll post some stuff about the song.
