if there was only some kind of future
philly played hard, and their defense was far more admirable than i expected for most of the game, but in the end we have another stupid new england victory and i'm just glad it's over with. this has got to be the last year. in the annals of nfl history, this patriots team is like the toyota camry - dependable, but bland and uninspiring. with a lot of egotistical fans. i just want to stop thinking about it and hope that someone will have the consistency to unseat them next year. honestly as a cincinnatian it's in my blood to hate the 80's niners, but talking dynasties, these pats wouldn't stand a chance against montana and rice, or any other historic nfl powerhouse (packers/bears/steelers/dolphins/etc). granted the game isn't the same as when those old teams played, but they had personality and magic.
my favorite quote on the pats coach: "... Belichick dresses like the lead singer of an '80s cover band."
anyway. i'm enjoying novell linux. it's based on ximian, has a nice set of packages installed by default.. did dual-boot to XP perfectly... it'll make a nice workstation OS for now. obligatory screenshot:
