dirty deeds... and the dunderchief

i've been looking up all night

so apparently espn's clayton is hopeful about carson palmer this year. his comments make sense, we do have a tendency to burn up our top draft pick QB's faster than i can drop cheese coneys. i'm pulling for carson too. as long as he stays away from the turnovers that were kitna's biggest flaw last year, i think he can take us far. best quote:

"Finally, the Bengals get it. It's not the quarterback who makes the team, it's the team that makes the quarterback."
man, i'm jazzed about the nfl this season. i can't WAIT for sunday afternoons.

also jazzed about friday, october 8th - enterprise's season premiere. if you are (1) a ridiculous nerd like me (2) hyped on this show (3) puzzled by the incredibly RANDOM nazi-alien-timetravel weirdness of the season 3 finale... there's a couple of spoilers about what's going to happen in this article. i'm a fan of cheating, so of course i read it. smallville's premiere looks okay - but i'm really glad this show's only going to last five seasons. if they don't do some impressive stuff this season, change things up a bit, run away from their cutesy WB teen-show cage, they're going to lose a lot of viewers. not the clark or lana obsessed stalkers, but people who like quality entertainment :)
