loud and out of key

i wish i paid attention to wrestling. not really. it would have made the hours of wrestlemania 21 i watched at ed's tonight make a little more sense. but how do you make pro wrestling make sense? i don't think it's within the realm of possibility. it's still hilarious to watch, though. once you realize it's as much entertainment and fiction as boston legal or CSI or star trek, you start to really enjoy it.

speaking of trek - just watched a great episode of enterprise from season 2, regeneration, where they encounter borg left over from first contact. it was edge-of-your-seat, something you don't encounter much in tv anymore. maybe i'd get the same effect from alias or 24 or something, but i can't make myself care about the characters in those shows like i do about the people on enterprise.

saw another trailer for hitchhiker's on saturday. man, i cannot WAIT for that movie. april 29th. who's up for a midnight showing?

i'm writing two songs now. one's called dream about the afterlife, about that wacked out dream i had last week, and one called evergreen.

back to work in the morning. guess i'm not going down to the cbell NOC to work on stuff, cause apparently the opening day parade will make that impossible. guess i'll have to be warm all day. i'm so hyped that XM has a contract with the MLB, so i can listen to every major league game. maybe i'll appreciate the season more if i'm not just listening to the reds lose every time.

oh and i tried mussels for the first time on saturday. no reaction - it was cool. they were pretty tasty. b suggested i try em fried, which is next on my list. well, lobster first.
