dirty deeds... and the dunderchief

try but i'm not convincing

well last night, while being an exciting, emotionally draining few hours, was obviously a bummer. not that deep down i really expected a W - we're a rung on the ladder below the Pittsburghs and the Indys and the (sigh) New Englands. although you put the bengals and the pats in a stadium this week and i bet we do some damage...

anyway, it sucks to see a game like that and think, the outcome could have been different had a few penalties been called or not called. naturally the fan of the losing team will blame penalties - but i'm doing it anyway.

it was good to hang out with austin, rob, and dave. it's a shame rob blew our streak. :) just kidding man, it wouldn't have been the same game without your grizzle.

a short work week this week, fortunately. i'm beat for some reason this morning. could have been the insane amounts of walking yesterday. speaking of breathing heavily, i just tried to convince B to buy an PSP so we could play burnout wirelessly while we're on the treadmill at the gym. this was after a discussion on picking up a DS just to play mario kart... which crossed my mind briefly but it's clearly not worth it. there's still not much more that they can do with that franchise that hasn't been done. i need something new. plus with nothing compelling on the radar... i'm sticking with my psp... hey street fighter alpha 3 is coming there in february, rock..

and then there's the 360 which launches tomorrow. i played call of duty 2 and king kong so far... nothing to write home about. maybe for the media-hub aspect of it - but i've already got a tivo for that (which will soon be able to dump shows straight to my psp, holler). i'll get one eventually for halo 3 but i'm not drooling over this one. which reassures me.

my fault, i thought you all heard last week that i was going to be at the game. maybe if you hadn't been 'taking care of your daughter' and 'being a responsible parent', and you'd been down playing glow in the dark soccer with us you would have picked it up...
