ain't no shook hands in brook-land

i'm so sick of seeing brian billick today. they've shown him on the sidelines more than they've shown actual plays. plus, he's a whiny girl. did you see how he cried like an infant to get his challenge? chris henry clearly had control of the ball... i think the officials felt sorry for baltimore honestly - for all their 'troubles with officials' they have apparently had this season, in three quarters i've seen plenty of reason that officials need to lay it down on that team.

it's been a frustrating game even though they're up by five. watching rudi get stuffed on every other run... watching carson struggle with inconsistent protection...

and for THE LOVE OF GOD please stop showing that ford commercial with the dude playing guitar, it makes me want to die.

hey, derailed looks interesting. the RZA and xzibit? yes, i'll take that.

i got the hookup on the RAZR - stopped by the cbell store and they had it for half off with a free bluetooth headset - only $99. fear! it's a worthy device... mp3 playback, built-in USB port...

geez, did you see that grab by chad? did we forget that he's capable of that? i should see that twice a game, at the very least. that's how we roll.

for this post

97 yards and a touchdown isnt what i would call stuffed

Blogger Rob Says:

of course, averaging 3 and a half yards a carry isnt the best either

dude, yeah, I could get 97 yards and a TD on that field if i got handed the ball every other snap and i ran straight up the middle behind jeremi johnson... i just don't think running that play is the solution to every problem the offense has during every drive.

Blogger Davie Says:

you want to talk about some crappy referees (besides the ones we had) did you stick around to watch the end of the Jets vs San Diego? the Jets came all the way back to be down by 5 and have it first and goal on the 3. then on a passing play (on 2nd down i believe) one of their receivers gets destroyed in the end zone before the ball was close, but the refs blew the obvious pass interference call and the jets ended up losing because of it. it should have been first and goal from one and a half yards out instead.

Blogger Rob Says:

the refs this week weren't as bad as they normally are. i guess maybe i'm just lowering my expectations since it appears that we get screwed over week in and week out

Blogger Justin Hall Says:

i gotta admit - we're getting way better on penalties. they've done great in knocking out that problem...

Blogger Justin Hall Says:

unfortunately no :( doesn't look like it's going to happen. we're going to wait to travel until after the first semester... renee doesn't have that much time to spare yet.

Blogger B-Call Says:

J, if you get a RAZR, get me a full report. I've been calling that as my cell of choice since it looks like I may be needing one soon.

Blogger B-Call Says:

Screw the Jets/Chargers officials. What a crappy playcall at the end of the game. A FADE??? How are you going to call a friggin' fade to either win or lose a game? How are you going to tell your inexperienced QB, "Hey, just take 2 steps and just heave it up to the corner of the endzone and hopefully there'll be someone there for ya,"? You wouldn't want to give the kid any choices or anything. God forbid you give him the option of checking down to another reciever or something. Nope, just take two steps and throw blindly to a corner. Great call.
And I don't even like the G-D Jets.

Blogger Justin Hall Says:

the razr = hot. best phone i've ever owned. unreal how small the thing is...

Blogger Justin Hall Says:

ok and after a discussion i had, i want to make one thing clear: i'm not hating on rudi. he's clearly a powerful, dedicated RB, but he's still no edgerrin james or ladanian tomlinson - dynamic, able to change direction, weave through lines - not just hammering the nail, like i feel rudi does sometimes. although vs. baltimore he did have a few dynamic runs - and he picked up 11-12 yards on those carries. he's clearly capable.
