bruises on the fruit
i'm trying hard to stay optimistic about transformers, even after reading some details coming out of the filming. specifically the heavy product placement (an ipod and an xbox360 transforming) and name changing (Soundwave => Soundbyte). all i need is Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime and Frank Welker as Megatron and i think i'll be okay. and someone with soul to replace Scatman Crothers as Jazz.
also a little alarmed after reading the stories about macbook case discoloration after only a few weeks of use. it seems to be about a 30-70 split between those who think it's a legitimate issue, and those who think the people experiencing the problems are just dirty. i may hold off a few days more to see if apple has any official response.
street fighter alpha anthology drops this week for the PS2. i picked up capcom fighting evolution for cheap the other week. a little disappointed with the available characters, but the controls were slick and the graphics polished, and it provided a great chance to try out my street fighter anniversary edition controller. i'm way more accurate with a d-pad than an analog stick, turns out.
Again, I tell you Transformers the Movie=GWAR concert and MACbook with a cover=Trapper Keeper.
I just read the stuff you linked from the movie.
If that stuff is true, why would you want to go see this movie? Its going to ruin everything that was great about Transformers.
If this is what's going on, then I'm not going to watch it. And I'll be much happier for it.
could be that they're just unfounded rumors. i'll give it the benefit of the doubt for now.
if i could find a trapper keeper somewhere, i'd keep my macbook inside of it, no doubt. anyone got one sitting in a box somewhere?
BTW i think the 'discoloration' problem with the macbooks is kind of overblown, it looks like, just a couple of incidents out of the vast number that have been out there for a while. i don't think it's worth dropping the extra $150 for the black one...
