filling the spaces in my life

it's hard to believe i'll be in line for Episode III in 24 hours. how am i gonna get through work tomorrow?

work. haven't mentioned that lately - i'm getting more and more to do, taking over incident response, intrusion prevention, some investigations, with much less systems maintenance. i like it a lot. it's almost like detective work, finding out what PC out of 100,000 is causing one particular problem in another state.

so E3 is going on and there are three new consoles to drool over. the line between PC and console is getting more blurry by the second.

as a new fan of sony equipment, i gave the new PS3 a quick glance:

a dumb looking controller, yes. some decent specs, but feature-wise it's just an upgraded PS2.

moving on, the XBOX360 is intriguing:

backwards compatibility with the xbox + home media features + wireless controllers + live capability in every game... a worthwhile trade-up.

who knew nintento would keep themselves a player with surprisingly good new features in the revolution?

the greatest idea ever: built-in NES/SNES/N64 emulation. the ability to download every NES/SNES/N64 game and play it on revolution... as well as built-in backwards compatibility with the cube... i'm sold. crap. yeah. i sold all my cube games back. oh well.

YOU WERE THE CHOSEN ONE!
