dirty deeds... and the dunderchief

my alibi any cutie

i was considering a non-web-based blogging app like blogjet when I saw that blogger had created an add-in that allowed publishing straight from MS Word. Sweet fancy moses.

Renee’s in the other room watching full house. Ugh.

Anyway, the not-quite-after-math of the worm was surprising. Never before have I seen such a mobilization of our desktop staff. IT management was even going from machine to machine, patching users… poetic justice, if you ask me, for having a weak patch management strategy.

So I’m beat, the last few days haven’t garnered much sleep, and I’m hoping for a restful night. I got the book for vandelay and I have don miller’s ‘new’ through painted deserts on the way – a re-release of prayer and the art of Volkswagen maintenance.

One of the things I inherited from Renee was an NES and a pile of excellent games. I’m gonna google on this but I wanted to see if anyone had any personal experience in fixing the blinking power thing, where the power turns on and off steadily… so… any experience fixing that?
