line up all the haters
had our first afternoon in the new office up at governor's hill today. there are +'s (more isolated office, much more space, larger lab, nicer building, better lunch spots) and -'s (15-20 minute longer drive, slower connectivity) but overall our team's vibe is positive about it.
i have to keep reminding myself of the reasons i sold my DS when i see pics of the new DS lite coming out. most of the hype lately has been for their wifi stuff, allowing you to play online (which i don't do much).
hey! sony's going to bundle UMD's and DVD's together. what a brilliant idea. next step: writeable UMD's. hook it up!
speaking of pics... i stole tony's pics from the wedding. quite a few new shots. we placed our order (finally) for our album and some standalone pics, hopefully we get them before the end of the decade.
olympics start this weekend... feh. winter sports. not even curling can drag me into watching any of that.
so i'm trying to find some console titles that renee and i can play togther. tycho and gabe from PA talk about playing WoW with their spouses, as well as final fantasy/kingdom hearts type stuff, but she has no time for RPG's. i was considering re-picking up a gamecube as they have quite a few quick-action party type games... what we need is guitar hero for the xbox, but that doesn't appear to be on the horizon...
and don't suggest we 'go outside' or whatever you primitive types enjoy. your star burns!
