great day at work: taking the afternoon off to watch the reds
better: free tickets from cincinnati bell
best. day. ever: free diamond seats from cincinnati bell.

70 and sunny, and b-mack and i were four rows up from home plate for the reds / cubbies at 12:30. free food, open bar, seat-side service... we didn't try the restaurant inside the clubhouse, but we did partake of a few big red smokies and the occasional frosty malt.

most of the game was spent popping practice fly balls out to the cubs' outfield. besides the ugly first, it was a pretty low key game until the eighth - down 4-2 with two on and two out, griff steps up to pinch hit for schoeneweis and knocks it out for the winning three-run homer. weathers came in to finish them off.

you bastard.
wait, you took the day off from "work", where you play video games with your friends and go to happy hour, to go to the reds game? which "work" is harder? getting pwnd in games, or watching the reds struggle for 7 innings?
and Hamrick won't transfer out here to "work" with you guys? idiot.

you are correct. we considered giving david ross a credit card a handful of times, he was a little too close to the seats, and he deserved it after he dropped the ball in the first and allowed a run.

unfortunately the flipside to playing the occasional round of counterstrike at work and going to a reds game is that i've got work nearly every night this week and every saturday/sunday next month. i'm not complaining, mind you, it's still a great setup, it's just not 100% rainbows and bunnies all the time.

Blogger B-Call Says:

true, its rainbows, bunnies, COUNTERSTRIKE AND REDS GAMES!!!

Blogger Justin Hall Says:

i'd give up counterstrike for the ballpit. i'd work from there half the day, holla
